That’s What She is a platform on a mission to connect women through the power of gospel rooted storytelling.
That’s What She was born out of a lifetime’s worth of conversations, revelations, and pursuit; a pursuit initially driven by empty seeking for purpose and identity that eventually begot an awareness of a God whose relentless pursuit for the broken and lost revealed a world of joy, strength, and hope.
Based on the belief that vulnerable, honest storytelling can lead to profoundly impactful action, That’s What She exists as a platform for truth and authenticity to share, navigate, and celebrate the vicissitudes of life as a community.
Why That’s What She?
Through the years we have met incredible women and men who have challenged and redefined what it means to be a woman. In truth there are more questions than answers. However from these conversations stems a collective desire to encourage one another and turn crude, debasing phrases like ‘that’s what she said’ into an empowering call to action. Together we can transform ‘that’s what she __’ statements to define ‘that’s who she is’. That’s what she — says, thinks, believes, inspires, challenges, creates — stories that reveal, restore, and redeem. Stories that need to be told.

Who is That’s What She?
We are a team of friends dedicated in our pursuit of seeking and reflecting Christ’s love in our everyday lives through the workplace, the household, and in our communities. We are storytellers, willing to be vulnerable with one another in our collective journeys. But more importantly we are flawed individuals whose pages are filled with light and darkness, victory and pain — unmerited grace.
Partaking in the journey
Our vision is to become a community of women and men around the world who recognize their brokenness and can together proclaim the goodness of God in their lives. We welcome you just as you are and we can’t wait to journey with you. Friend, no matter where you are, be it on top of the highest mountain or at the bottom of the lowest valley, take heart and know that you are never alone.
